I have been working on creating a website to keep you all updated on my progress on tour. From now on I will keep you updated on this new website.
https://sites.google.com/site/thomascampbellgolf/
The website is pretty basic for now, but when I get more photos, videos, and other links it will begin to look more professional.
On the website I will post my results, photos, and videos, and have provided many other links related to my golf progress. I will keep you updated regularly on the blog section on the site.
Since posting my last Blog I have really struggled to score. My ball striking has been great, and I have been giving myself very realistic chances to contend in every event. However my putting has really been letting me down having between 33-37 putts a round and the putts have been from short range. I decided it was time for a change. I am usually pretty stubborn and like to stick with a certain putter, but I have decided change will be a good thing. I purchased an Odyssey Backstryke Blade Putter. It looks very different from the tradition style putter, but it really forces me to get my hands forward at address, which is something I have really struggled with. I have spent plenty of time practicing my putting this week and the ball rolls so much better.
My next event on the NGA Tour (Formerly Hooters) begins on Thursday in Seneca, South Carolina.
Make sure to follow my progress on my new website from now on as I will not be updating this blog as regularly.

Killearn Classic Begins Tomorrow!!
The official start to the 2012 NGA Tour season begins tomorrow.
After three practice days in Tallahassee on the course I can say I am as ready as I can be to begin. I love the greens and the course has a nice layout.
I am very excited to again play in a well conducted 72 hole golf event finally walking and without the use of range finders.
Since the end of October I have not played a single round of golf as all the events required players to ride. I can't stand riding in carts because I always feel rushed, lazy, and you have to take in consideration where the other guy riding in the cart hits the ball so It has been great to walk around the course over the past three days.
My tee time tomorrow is 748am so the goal is to shoot a low score in the morning for everyone to chase.
Results can be followed at this link.

Beginning of NGA Tour 2012
The time has come for the NGA Tour (Formerly Hooters Tour) to begin tomorrow. I am excited to be fully exempt for the tour this year and compete for higher purses along side many great players. The NGA Tour is the third best golf tour in America behind the PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour.
I feel that the last couple of months preparation for the tour went great playing in small events getting the game play sharp and practicing hard out at Orange Country National. I have had a few low rounds this year, lowest was 64 (8 under), along with several bogy free rounds.
I am also very excited to announce that I have signed with Bermuda Sands Apparel for the next two seasons. I will be wearing their shirts in all of my events and know I will represent the company well on tour.
The first event beginning tomorrow is at Black Bear Golf Course, about an hour north of Orlando. It is called the NGA Members Shootout conducted over three rounds. The winner of the event will have all the entries for the NGA Tour this year paid for. I played in a small event at the course earlier in the year and after yesterdays practice round I feel as ready as I can be and as long as I play one shot at a time I know the results will fall into place.
